I'll admit I wasn't a huge fan of this game at first. I can see why some people would have posted negative reviews on it as well. It started out a little buggy, and online wasn't working all that well. They did how ever in my opinion fix the issues with this game. I have to give them credit for doing that. Especially when most these games remain broken like Dovetail Fishing. Which I gave a amazing review on it at first, but since then I wouldn't recommend to anyone. It remains completely broken, and it is like they don't even care. These guys cared enough about their game to iron it all out, and that is important to let people know.

I have really enjoyed the game since. It takes a bit to get used to, because you only have one life. I see a lot of games like that anymore, and I love it because i like a challenge in games. I do feel though how ever it hurts them a lot as well. A lot of today's generation, just want fun game, and don't really care about the feeling of accomplishment. So i think they should probably give an option to make it easier, even if it is kind of lame so everyone can enjoy it. I feel a lot of people probably just gave up and posted negative comments. The game deserves a very positive response though, because it is a fun game. I think the most fun comes in coop. it kind of feels like Contra at times or Metal Slug two pretty epic titles.

You start with just one character, but as you go you unlock others as well. Each have their own skills and weaknesses, and are best in certain areas of the game. In Coop though it all works , as a well oiled machine. If you have the right team with you. Every character is designed well, to compliment each other. The levels are very well designed, with multi tiers making it possible to take a different route if you need to. Even though most will be filled with tons and tons of enemies just like the other. All of the enemies are unique as well, firing different weapons at you, and attacking in different ways. The same goes for you as well though, because upgrades are picked up through out the game. Giving you secondary weapons, as well as armour, and health. Some are temporary , some you hold on to. You find them in chests and slot machines found within the levels. You buy these using gold picked up during gameplay from killing enemies. The price of the chest usually determines how good of a pickup you will receive.

The controls are pretty spot on, but you will need them to be considering the amount of bullets you will be dodging. The game looks great, especially for a arcade title. The boss fights are pretty cool as well. They are always the same though so you know what to expect from them. So you can learn patterns for them, but not so much the rest of the level because it always varies, and is randomly generated. That is kind of a new fad for arcades games, and i can understand why. Kind of gives you a new experience each time. In my opinion if you like coop action games you are going to enjoy this one. If you enjoyed things like Metal Slug, Contra, Rush N Attack you will enjoy this. Wish it was a little longer, but still has replay value since there are other characters to try.

Overall: 7.9 Alone or with a friend the action in Rogue Stormers is quick and exciting, and just oozes arcade goodness.
