Zombie Vikings is one of those games that is more fun to play Coop with friends, but still a blast on your own. It very much feels like Castle Crashers at times. I know that is a really big compliment considering I consider castle Crashers one of the best Indie/Arcade titles ever made. Zombie Vikings might not reach the same greatness as Behemoth's masterpiece, but it gets damn near close. With hilarious storytelling , and jokes. Fun characters, and weapons. Even well designed levels, with a variety of unique enemies Zombie Vikings never stops exciting, and making you laugh from start to finish. The story is Loki stole Odin's only working eye, so Odin raises four wacky Vikings from the dead to recapture it for him. The jokes, and writing is just hilarious. They may appeal more to adults, because In my opinion they were very laugh out loud worthy. Zombie Vikings is one of those COOP Brawlers that you play with friends, and time flies by. You also never forget it.Sort of like the first time you. and your buddy defeated Contra. When you blew up that huge alien heart, and flew away together in the chopper.

Zombie Vikings will take up about 10 hours of your time, which is pretty good considering what it is, and the price. The thing is with all the weapons, and side quests you will return to this game again and again. The Coop will probably also bring you back. It isn't overly complicated. Your not going to struggle, especially with sidekicks by your side. The bosses are fairly simple, but well designed, and hysterical. Everyone of them is so memorable.

My experience with it it ran smooth, both on the PS4 and the Xbox One so the glitches I'm hearing about didn't apply to me. Maybe it was a steam thing, but on console was fun and flawless.

I really didn't see many flaws at all. The storytelling, and jokes all top notch. The music and sounds fit very well into the environments. The levels all looked different , and fresh very good for a Indie/Arcade game. I was a huge fan of "Stick it to the Man" as well so, so far Zoink Games is off to a very good start with me. I'd highly recommend both to fans of the Arcade/Indie genre. if your on the fence, and you love beat em ups like Castle Crashers and Golden Axe get your hands on this won't be let down at all.

Pros: Well designed levels, bosses, and enemies

Delightful music and sounds fits well into gameplay

Tons of replay value with friends, or alone

Hilarious jokes and storytelling

Cons: Repetitive somewhat after awhile

Overall: 7.7 For fans of simple side scrolling brawlers, Zombie Vikings is a blast especially with friends by your side.
