Lost Grimoires: Stolen Kingdom

The new Artifex Mundi game to come to the Xbox One brings everything you got in the past except for a bonus DLC level which I was kind of sad, because I enjoyed this story so much. it wasn't the best story so far, but it was certainly one of the better ones. You play as a Alchemist apprentice returning home to continue her training under her master, but instead is pulled into a mysterious tale that leads to facts about the disappearance of your parents. The story is really good that is probably one of the best parts of it.
This one is is missing a few things else besides DLC. You have no companion on this one. No loveable creature that joins you on your journey. Also no mini game when you skip. So that means easier achievements, and faster which I like. Also less replay though, because you will get all of them on the first play through. I don't mind this because most the time, these are one and dones. Games you make a evening out of. usually have fun playing it alone, or getting help from friend or family in finding the hidden objects or solving puzzles.
This is what I love about these Artifex Mundi games. They are inexpensive, and usually take up no less then a night to complete. Achievement hunter, and busy person's dream game. I always look forward to these. I know I got a additional 1000 gamerscore coming, and I'm going to have a game to fill that evening with. By now you've played these, or read our reviews. You know what to expect. If your like me, you are going to love them. They never disappoint. Even when you get into some of the older ones, that are a little more basic. You still have a good time coming. You know your getting top quality voice acting, a really good entertaining story, some fun, but not overly difficult puzzles. They just been doing this long enough to know exactly what they are doing, and we are enjoying every single release.

Pros: Great narrator, and voice actors
Whimsical music, and sounds
Fun, but simple puzzles
Hidden objects to make you re-explore areas
Easy Achievement score
Beautifully drawn environments

Cons: No extra story this time
No bonus game for skipping

Overall: 7.0 These hidden object games never get old. They take you back to PC classic point and clicks of old, and entertain with well told stories.
