A Way Out

You know I expected A Way Out to be a pretty decent game. I knew it was the same team that made "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons" and that was one of my favorite games of last generation. I did however question would they be able to make something not Indie on the same kind of level. My questions were answered today very quickly. It didn't take me long into the first chapter to realize I was in for something special. From start to finish it delivers an amazing that makes it hard to step away from. Like Brothers it also creates a bond between you , and your Coop partner. You need each other every step of the way, and it is done in a way that is so much fun. There are so many activities, and items to react with throughout the story. Find yourself playing baseball, darts, basketball, arcade games, and many other activities. You really find yourself looking around for things to react to.
As far as development the game is very well designed. It looks beautiful. The sounds and music all fit really well into the story. It runs smooth. Never once did I experience any type of glitch or issue. It is all in all a really well polished title with a decent price tag on it. 29.99 and its 7 to 8 hours long. Most games today are the same length and try to take 60 dollars out of your pocket. Another great thing about it, even though its Coop only. You can invite anyone to play it, even if they don't personally own the game. They just download the trial version, and when you invite them they can play the entire game with you for free. You can't beat that. I really hope that doesn't take away from their sells though, because this title deserves all the success it receives.
So if your looking for a great story driven game you aren't going to find much better. The story just never stops getting better all the way until the end when it blows your mind. What is even better is there is multiple endings, and different game choices that will make you want to start it right back over after completing it. I don't have a hard time at all recommending this one. I really can say this might be the best game I've played so far in 2018.

Pros: Beautiful graphics and sounds
AMAZING story from start to finish
Tons of replay, multiple story decisions
Unforgettable Coop Experience
Unique gameplay

Cons: Have to find someone to play with, but if you can't find someone to play a game that is free that's the least of your problems.

Overall: 9.6 Maybe the best Coop game you'll ever play especially if you love a great story driven game. A can't miss for all Coop fans.
