39 Days to Mars has nothing to do with Jared Leto's band it is a single player or Coop Puzzler where you control each hand sort of like "Twin Cop" which I reviewed earlier. I don't mean it's copying it, because this was out earlier just a comparison. You play coop you go as your friend, and if alone you take your cat. I have no friends to play with so of course it was me and my cat like in real life. I do look forward to trying it out with a friend down the road though If I ever make any. The cat is cool though just makes it harder because you have to control both hands using both sticks. You work little random puzzles that you can see in video review below. They aren't overly difficult, and the game can be beat in under 30 minutes. Which kind of softens the blow of buying a game you can beat in 30 minutes for 15 dollars. You will play it multiple times though to unlock the Achievements, and it's also randomly generated ship so your quest will never be exactly the same.
On the ship you have to fix things when they break and you can't do so until you eat scones or drink tea. I had a issue with drinking tea you will also see in video below, but I fixed with restarting adventure, and reinstalling game. After that I can say I never had another issue at all. The game works great, and the controls are difficult but spot on. I liked the art of this game was really simple yet still very enjoyable. I also enjoyed the music and sounds. It really gave me a " Far: Lone Sails" Vibe where I'm trying to get some where and my ship keeps falling apart. This game was far more in depth than it though. So many different puzzles. Putting together maps, circuit memory, gardening, connect hoses and pipes, fishing, fighting Kraken, catching space aliens, space missions for fuel, and I could go on and on. I didn't even begin to cover everything you do. It's hard to believe the game is so short with all the different puzzles you play.
Is this for you? If you enjoy puzzle games without question. If you enjoy coop games it's worth your time as well. This is one of those game in my opinion just about anyone can enjoy. I think if you have a hard time sitting down for a long time playing games to, and you like small short adventures you will really love this as well. Some times lately I just want something short and sweet to play a couple hours between doing other things, and this fits in there perfectly. It's also great for Achievement hunting being that it' takes very little time to go back and replay it. So I think you should certainly check this one out, and let us know what you thought about it. Hopefully you don't experience the same thing I did, and feel like your playing "Tea Making Simulator 2,000" If you decide to grab it use the link below, it helps us.

Pros:
Unique concept
Challenging
Ton of replay value
Fun Achievements
Excellent Coop

Cons:
Short
Issues at first

Overall: 7.8
Team Making Simulator I mean 39 Days to Mars is a great little coop or solo game to kill a few hours of your evening with. The random generation of the ship and Achievements also give you reasons to return to it for more fun down the road as well.
