What does the fox say? Notstalgia..That is what the fox says! This game brought me back to the NES days playing Super Mario Bros. Do you like the fun of a Mario game with the challenge of Flappybird? If you answered yes, then this is definitely a game for you! The Traps, Hazards, Enemies, and even your character offense/defense mimic that of a Super Mario game. Now, Where is the Flappybird challenge I spoke of earlier you ask? The platforms and single/double jumps it takes to reach them. Some have to be timed so perfect or you will die instantly while others take little to no skill or timing at all. There are 40 levels that are handcrafted and get more difficult as you go. The levels are really short but with that being said, you will want to explore to collect the 3 hidden coins in each level. Some of these coins are out in the open while others are hidden behind walls or in holes. You will meet tons of fascinating characters while playing and each one has a role in the story. I played this on the PC and it highly recommend using a gamepad of some sort, to which I agree. The controls are meant for gamepad and not keyboard and mouse. The wall jump mechanic can be a bit finicky but for the most part the controls are smooth and straight forward. PC versions feature online multiplayer and co-op modes so you can play this with your friends. Foxyland 2 consist of mostly cartoon violence and your main weapons are your feet or cherries that you collect and throw. Kiddos should be ok to play this without any worry of bloody violence. Overall, this game is a fun throwback to the late 80s platformer with challenging levels, awesome characters, and a pretty cool story.

For an old school styled platformer, This one is a ton of fun and I will surely be playing it on and off for a long long time!
