I loved this game. The controls are so smooth and simplistic. There is so much to be going on to only be using two buttons. The controls are simple you use either the right or left mouse buttons, that is it. So it's something you can play any time and anywhere. The game play is that simple. You have to hit the button as they appear on your attack bar, sort of like you would with a Rock band or Guitar hero game, and you attack the direction you hit. Some guys take more than one shot, so you have to pay close attention to their bars beneath them. There are also weapons you can use, and have to dodge as well of course using your mouse buttons. I think that is what makes it so much fun is the simplistic game play. It isn't a simple game though they come fast and hard, and you have to really stay on your toes.
There is so many levels, and different game types to keep you busy for a long time. Be careful to not over do it though, play it in spurts. It can feel repetitive if you try and sit there and play the entire game. Break it down a little bit, and its good for weeks of fun. It's one of my favorite games to sit and play when I don't have a ton of time, or if I just feel like relaxing and gaming without using a ton of thought, and don't feel like stressing over a game. There is also custom changes you can make for your character to make it your own, to look and feel different every time you play. It's such a simple game to play, but it isn't simplistic in all of it's features.
The Backgrounds of the levels are beautiful to look at and vary so much to keep it fresh. I also love the music , and sound effects. It gets you right into the action as you watch the chaos on the screen. Hear and watch as enemies swarm you with guns, swords, sticks, etc its non stop action, and so addictive.
Pros: Beautiful Backgrounds on the levels
Simplistic controls
Tons of features and game styles
Awesome Sound effects, and attacks
Cons: Can feel repetitive if you play to long
Overall: 7.9 One Finger Death Punch 2 is addictive non stop action, that you will have to pry yourself away from.
