Emily Wants to Play is a creepy first person horror game, that puts you in control of a Pizza delivery guy. Your delivering your last order of the night, when you get there the door locks behind you. You make your way through the house reading notes, and listening to messages that tell you what to do, or do they? That is the great thing about Emily Wants to Play your just thrown into this nightmare, and you have to figure it out all on your own. I've seen a lot of reviews, and they pretty much tell you everything. They tell you how to get past every obstacle, hour, and creature in the game. We don't do that here. Feel free to read without any spoilers. You will be confronted by three dolls, they are all terrifying. Have fun figuring them out, even then survival isn't guaranteed. The game is hard at times, and sometimes even unfair. That might be my only complaint. I love a challenge, but I like it to be based on skill, and not luck. Some times with Emily Wants to Play it is just the luck of the layout. There are times where there are impossible combinations, and your just dead and have to start over at the checkpoint. At least they don't hold it against you, they start you right back at the time of night you died on.
The main objective is just survival. Yes there may be achievements for finding things, but in the end nothing really matters except reaching dawn. The scares come by the hundreds, before you finally finish this one. I don't care how many times you die to something, they are still gonna catch you off guard at times, and startle you again. It is just a blast, especially to stream. People are going to love watching you get startled over and over again. Achievements hunters will love this one as well, easy to get 1000 gamerscore on this in a few hours. I myself love horror games, so i had a blast with it. I played it with a friend, he seemed to enjoy it as well. It is a good game to play with someone, because you will more then likely die often.A lot of the times die quickly to, so you can pass that controller back and forth if your mother taught you about sharing growing up. I guarantee you will have a lot of fun doing so, and watching them get caught off guard just like you.
There isn't a whole lot to say about the controls, they work fairly well. I will say a couple times I'd die on a part where I had to stay completely motionless, and I know I did. That could be a issue with the controller sticks though, sometimes they tend to sway especially during vibration. There isn't a lot of music, but the sounds are creepy and fit right in there with the gameplay. The voice acting isn't amazing , but this is a indie game. It isn't so bad that it takes away from the game or anything. The level design, and art are decent they do perfect in adding to the creepiness of the game. Lots of shadows, and dark spots that make it even harder to spot things that go bump in the night. Overall it is just a really fun game. An amazing way to spend a evening. It isn't something you may play over and over, but it is something that is gonna entertain the hell out of you the first time you play it. I could see it getting played again when company is over as well.

Pros: Loads of scares, screams, and laughs.
Eery level design, really adds to creepiness
Spooky sounds that, keep you on your toes.
Fun game to share with friends, or stream
Fun, and simple achievements

Cons: At times unfair
Would have enjoyed it being a little longer

Overall: 8.2 Guaranteed evening full of scares, laughs and fun.
