Paradox Soul is a MetroidVania game where you have to make your way through tons of rooms that sort of make a maze. There is tons of path you can take, to meet your final destination. You also find suits, and weapon upgrades. Suits that give you ability to drop grenades, double jump, electricity, and even roll into a ball. These abilities help you get to areas you couldn't reach before, like recharging doors and blowing open boxes to get into new areas, even rolling through small areas. You can also find maps that will help you as well. The rooms are littered with enemies that return every time you enter a room. There are four different types, Zombies, Dogs, Gunners, and vehicle driving enemies. I wish there was more types it can get repetitive, and super simple after you figure out their attacks. The Bosses are really awesome though, and a blast to figure out their attacks. They all have unique looks, and patterns. Maybe the brightest part to the game, I had a lot of fun with each one.
There is different skill levels which just give you more health the easier. The game is very forgiving as far as deaths though.  There is a ton of checkpoints. Achievements as you'd expect it being a Ratalaika title are very easy as well. If you use a walkthrough you can grab a quick completion in about 15 to 20 minutes.I think most are impossible to miss as well since it's basically collecting items you need, and killing enemies you come across. The toughest ones are probably reaching room 33, and blowing up a terminal they are probably the last two you'll get. It's another one of those easiest achievement games of 2019, and a most grab for Achievement and trophy hunters especially at that 5 dollar price point.
The music in Paradox Soul is great as well. I enjoyed it a lot it has that classic sound. The look is very retro to. It really reminds me of a favorite of mine Bionic commando. So should you grab it? I think if your an Achievement/Trophy Hunter it's a must. If your looking for a evening's worth of fun playing something retro it's a grab as well. It isn't Ratalaika's best game to date, but it's still a great value, and still a lot of fun. Let us know if you play it, and what you thought, and as always thanks for supporting and following us.

Pros: Lots of cool abilities
         Awesome retro music
         Unique boss battles
         Easy Achievements
         Great value

Cons: Repetitive at times
          Needs more variety enemies

Overall: 6.8 A must grab for Achievement/Trophy Hunters at a great value, but doesn't have a lot of replay value and grows repetitive quickly.
