There is no other game like "Among The Sleep" it is a horror genre type game, where you play as a toddler. It takes you back to a time when your teddy bear was protection, and your best friend. It goes so far beyond that though in its approach, tackling some serious issues that I won't talk about, because I don't like to spoil good storylines for future players of the game. I will say it is a much deeper story then it sounds, and the game really has a lot of real life and creepy moments.
The game is beautiful in it's dream like/nightmare atmosphere. The levels are dark, while also having beautiful bright and colorful scenes as well. The whole idea of the game is just brilliant. Some ideas it just takes a brave developer/studio to tackle and in my opinion this is one of those games and ideas that a lot of people wouldn't dare bring to a console. So in my opinion it is a must play for indie gamers, or people who enjoy a great horror story type game. The creepy monster is something straight out of mythology very Slendermanish, so if you enjoy games like that this is right of your alley.
The game won't take you long maybe just a few hours, like is the case with a lot of Indie games, but its plenty of time. It is a great sit down one evening game, where you just like to play a quick game, and not invest hours of your life or night into it. This adventure will certainly leave you wanting more, so hopefully there is more to it on the way in the likes of add-ons or a sequel "fingers crossed"
