Doom Review

"DOOM"

Doom really has taken me back to the days of the classic FPS hours and hours of playing games like Wolfenstein, Quake, and of course the original Doom. Doom delivers on so many aspects. Its fast paced, smooth and oh so violent. Smoothest feeling shooter since Halo's latest installment. The 60 frames per second are clearly obvious, and and really add to the smoothness of the online Multiplayer as well as campaign.
Heard the same reviews over and over amazing campaign, and lackluster online multiplayer. I have to disagree. I feel they probably didn't give it enough time. Takes a good bit to get used to, To learn the maps, unlock the weapons and equipment. The multiplayer is loaded with armors and weapon skins that unlocking just adds to the replay value. I felt it was a lot of fun, my only complaint was a lot of the maps look and feel the same. Hopefully the DLC fixes this small complaint. Quick shotgun battles, and turning into powerful demons made my day, and sure it will yours as well. The nine maps will all look and feel similar but you'll probably be pulled into the action to much to care. The four different demons all have their different strength and abilities. The Baron of hell is a powerhouse with powerful melees, Revenant is quick can fly around with a jetpack raining missles down on the other team, The prowler is more stealth waiting around in the shadows for a sneaky kill, and last but not least the Mancubus a slow and powerful demon loaded with health and a missle barrage barrage that times can be a little inaccurate. Maps also loaded with powerups and weapons like the Gauss Cannon, chainsaw, and BFG 9000 all our one shot kills and a delight to pick up for the first time. Multiplayer is so in depth could talk for hours about it, but always try keep our reviews short and sweet,
The campaign is a blast though. there are no complaints about it at all. FPS perfection like we have became used to from Bethesda. Its loaded with secrets, cool weapon mods, nearly unstoppable demons, and just overall fun from start to finish. 12 to 15 hours of nonstop gory excitement I don't feel you would be let down by any aspect of this game after finishing up some time with it. Feel its a must own for FPS fans especially the old school fans of the genre.

Pros: Loaded with unlockables, and secretsFast Paced Gory action
Awesome soundtrack
Multiplayer adds to replay value

Cons: Mediocre Multiplayer Maps

Overall: 8,7 a must play for all real FPS fans, Addicting Multiplayer and campaign.
